Dr. Annie Borgne-Sanchez – Co-founder, President, CEO-CSO

Annie is a graduate of UPMC and obtained her PhD in 1998 in Laurent MEIJER’s laboratory (CNRS, Roscoff) working on cell cycle regulation and CDK inhibitors. In 1998, she started postdoctoral research in Paul NURSE’s laboratory (Nobel Prize 2001) at Cancer Research UK (London) on the cell cycle checkpoints in yeast. She next worked on new anti-cancer targets in cell cycle/apoptosis models at the Cancerology Department of the Servier Research Institute. End 2002, she joined Theraptosis SA at the Pasteur Institute (Paris) and managed the Oncology-Mitochondria screening platform Department (2005-2008). Annie co-founded Mitologics SAS in 2009 to manage and develop both service and R&D activities. She is co-author of 29 peer-reviewed publications and 5 patents.

Dr. Nelly Buron – Co-founder, R&D manager

Nelly has 19 years-experience in biological research and is specialized in cell death mechanisms. Nelly is a graduate of University of Burgundy (Dijon) and obtained her PhD in 2006 in the laboratory of Pr. Eric Solary (INSERM U866, Cell Death and Cancer). She joined Theraptosis SA in 2006 where she worked on anti-tumor drug candidates and characterized their mechanisms of action. Nelly is co-founder of Mitologics and supervises the R&D studies. She is co-author of 16 peer-reviewed publications.

Mathieu Porceddu – Co-founder, Platform manager

Mathieu obtained his License in Biology from Paris-Orsay University in 2006 and immediately joined the Oncology/Platform department of Theraptosis SA. He is specialized in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Mathieu is co-founder of Mitologics and supervises the service activity.  He is co-author of 9 peer-reviewed publications.
